Shahid wanted to create an Islamic mobile app that allows users to read the Quran, bookmark surahs, and access tafseer. The challenge was building an offline-first app with local database storage, while syncing with APIs for updated tafseer and translations. Smooth navigation and lightweight design were also priorities.
We developed Quran Quest, a React Native app with SQLite for offline Quran storage and API integration for tafseer and translations. The app provides bookmarks, notes, and search functionality, ensuring a smooth and lightweight user experience.
Our focus was building a mobile-first Islamic app that works without internet but enhances experience with APIs when online. SQLite ensured offline storage while React Native enabled fast performance across Android and iOS.
The app provided Muslims with a reliable Quran reader with offline access, tafseer, and bookmarks. Its lightweight design made it accessible to users with low-end smartphones as well.
Quran Quest gave users a modern, offline-first Quran app with tafseer, bookmarks, and notes. With React Native and SQLite, it combined reliability with smooth design, making it a valuable tool for daily recitation and study.
